A Whole New Shell Game
Ch'rell/The Shredder uses the name Oroku Saki as his public persona. Posing as a caring businessman, he uses his Saki guise to amass his vast fortune that he uses to carry out his nefarious plots. The human form and name of Oroku Saki, as well as Saki's alter ego as the villainous Shredder, originally belonged to a demon-possessed ninja over one thousand years ago; Ch'rell likely heard this legend and adopted the personae as his own as a method of fear.
