Lieutenant of Squad 6. A Soul Reaper who grew up in the "Hanging Dog" area of Rukon District with Rukia Kuchiki. He was in the elite class at the Soul Reaper Academy with Izuru and Momo. His forehead tattoos and sunglasses make him easy to spot. The sunglasses he wears are from the Silver Dragonfly, a popular shop in Soul Society.
