The Darkstar Ninja's were responsible for the destruction of this highly specialised school of martial arts, a vengeful act of revenge for teaching the unknown and secret moves to their students. Thankfully Toshio arrived late on the night of the destruction and was the only existing survivor from the school of "Katu", he is the last of the "small warriors".
