Sir Rattlebone
Long ago, in medieval times, there was a strong and noble knight who served the royalty of Kingsland. He was known for being fearless and undyingly loyal. But one day, this knight fell victim to a freak trebuchet accident, a misfortune that would sadly cost him his life. Hundreds of years later, the knight was awoken from the grave by a mysterious necromancer. The knight looked at himself and realised his flesh had rotted off beneath the earth, leaving only his skeleton dressed in royal armour. He couldn’t remember a thing about himself, not even his name, but his passion to serve and protect was nonetheless intact. The necromancer dubbed him as “Sir Rattlebone” and appointed him as the commander of a whole army of skeletal knights, to fight a war against a common enemy: skeletal pirates. No one truly knows who won that war, but it mattered not, as Rattlebone was laid back to rest the moment it was over. Another five hundred years passed, and Rattlebone was brought back once more, this time into the modern age. He ended up fleeing from the one that reanimated him, as they had also recruited the dastardly skeleton pirate Shiverskull, Rattlebone’s old enemy from the skeleton war, into their ranks. After a fairly sizable ordeal involving a tournament known as the Duels of Fortune, Rattlebone finally decided to settle down and become the assistant to a friendly tinkerer named Annie, who could be a little crazy about her inventions sometimes, but overall took good care of him. But the action is never truly over for Rattlebone; while Annie was working on a brand-new teleportation device, the machine suddenly went haywire, and Rattlebone was transported to what appeared to be an alternate Earth. He was unsure exactly what was going on here, but he had a feeling that plenty of danger awaited him here. His trusty sword and shield at the ready, he set out on a new quest to find a way back home.

Sir Rattlebone
In life, Rattlebone was a noble knight loyally serving the royal family of Kingsland, until one day he fell victim to a freak trebuchet accident that ended his life. It wasn't until 500 years later that he was brought back to life by a necromancer, who wanted him as the commander of his army of fellow skeleton knights. Though the necromancer wasn't nobility, the knight still accepted his request, and fought valiantly against the opposing army of skeleton pirates. However, unable to recall his own name, the knight was forced to adopt a new moniker: Sir Rattlebone. After the Skeleton War ended, Rattlebone was laid back to rest. But his eternal slumber would once again be interrupted another few centuries later, when he was brought back by a different necromancer to do their bidding. However, sensing that this necromancer's intentions were much more sinister, he politely declined to offer his services and promptly ran away. Now he finds himself stranded and alone in the unfamiliar modern world, utterly baffled by its aesthetics and technology.
True to his history, Rattlebone is overly polite and chivalrous, and fights with nothing less than absolute honour. However, he still tends to have no idea what's going on in this world that's completely alien to him, and he's quite prone to being startled.
Rattlebone joins the Duels of Fortune tournament to fight alongside his newfound companions, Clyde Brightstar and Annie Dasteel, and attempt to uncover the truth about the tournament's inner workings.
