Ex-Captain of Squad 9. Despite being blind, he shows amazing skill with his sword. He aided Aizen's betrayal of the Soul Society in pursuit of a greater peace, and headed to Hueco Mundo. Loves peace more than anything, and opposes anyone who disturbs it. He strives to uphold the promise he made to his dead friend, to become the embodiment of justice.
