The owner of a general store, Urahara Shop. Easygoing but hard to read, he knows much about Soul Society technology and history. Helped Ichigo and friends as they went to save Rukia. A black market dealer who sells items from the Soul Society, he was once Captain of Squad 12 and the first Bureau Chief of the Department of Research and Devlopment.
