Pre History
The companion of Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu trained alongside him at the Crane School of martial arts. Short, pale, and with a single hair on his head, Chiaotzu resembles the traditional jiang shi or "hopping corpse". Tien and Chiaotzu defected from the Crane School when they realized how dishonorable their sensei was, and teamed up with the Turtle School students such as Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha.
