There is a hidden easter egg in the original Melty Blood. If you perform Ciel's AAA while ex-shielding with Arcueid Brunestud, a picture of them punching each other will appear. Arcueid's face resemble Neko-Arc.

This feature was later removed in the later Melty Blood games.

The spirit that appears besides Ciel is referred as "Seven" or "Nanako". She will sometimes appear in a few seconds before a match. Ciel will call her as "Seven" when performing an Arc Drive move.
