Clark has gone through his morning routine: his usual breakfast and a trip to the mail box to get the newspaper.
Peering in to the mail box, he spies a regimen glitch - an envelope awaits him under the morning paper.
Checking the contents, he discovers that it's an invitation to this year's KOF.
(I'll be getting a call from Ralf in about five minutes...) he thinks as he heads back to his living room with the envelope and a pained grin.
Precisely five minutes later, the phone rings.
The familiar voice on the other side of the line is a shrill bark:
"Hey, did you get it yet? Clark! Get out to your mail box. The invite's gotta be there!"
"I just got back from it!"
"Oh! You did? Was it there?"
"Yup, I got it."
"Well then, get crackin'. I'm off to the gym for training. See you in three days."
