A counter; Killer Queen will appear and hold Stray Cat, and if they're hit, they'll be pushed away and Killer Queen will fling an explosive at them with a slingshot.

Bites the Dust
Kawajiri pushes "his" son Hayato forward, and the lad moves forward a bit with Killer Queen above him. If the opponent touches Hayato/Killer Queen, Hayato falls backward onto his butt and is frightened while an image of Killer Queen is overlaid. The camera zooms into Kawajiri's eye and Killer Queen is shown pressing an ignition switch. The opponent explodes, and Kawajiri and Killer Queen are shown being pulled into a time warp. When they reappear, the fighters are returned to their starting position, all stage traps are reset, and Kawajiri's health has been restored a bit.
