Kaito Kujo
Twin brother of Kirito and one of the strongest Weapon Users. After defeating a member of the Weapon Gang in a Weapon Battle, he learned that the Weapon Gang was planning an attack. In order to compete against the Weapon Gang, who would use any underhanded tactic to win, he became Breaker, a symbol of strength that Kirito and other Weapon Users would try and defeat, in order to forge them in the fires of battle.
He respects Killer Machine, who competed in Kingdom Fighter, and incorporates some of Machine's attacks into his fighting style.

Kirito Kujo
A classmate at the same school as Ayuri. As a weapon user, Kirito spends his days engaged in Weapon Battles. One day, a figure named "Breaker" appeared, an excessively violent person who would injure his fallen foes more than necessary after their duel.
Kirito challenged Breaker to a fight and was defeated, but for some reason was not subjected to the same excessive violence. Forced to come to terms with his own weakness, Kirito began learning the ancient Rokudo-style martial arts from Tenma Kuzuryu, whom he met at the maid café "Maid for You," and has his eyes set out for revenge against Breaker.

Ruka Takamiya
She holds a black belt in Tsukumokan, a style of karate that specializes in weapon techniques. She loves fighting, and since Weapon Battles - fighting one-on-one using specific weapons - go well with the karate she has studied, she participates in them to pass the time.

Tenna Tsukishiro
Tenna grew up in China due to her father's work and learned Hung Ga Kuen during her childhood. When she was in high school, she returned to Japan with her family. While struggling to fit in at a Japanese school, she found her place in Weapon Battles and became a Weapon User.
She met Kaito during battle and decided to follow him, attracted to his strength.
However, Kaito began to use excessive violence on his opponents, and she began to have doubts about him.
