Del Sol is an original creation of Anchor Inc, a 3D animation company that worked on Fighting Vipers 2. In the past, Anchor's webpage featured an "Anchor Wrestling Association" section with Del Sol and another character demonstrating various wrestling moves in GIF form.
Del Sol's 1P and 2P masks reappear as create-a-wrestler parts in 2002's WWE Raw for Xbox and PC. A company called Microvision is credited with development. Whether Anchor worked on Raw or their staff moved to Microvision is unknown.
