Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Arena
A colossal Celestial head hangs suspended in deep space, forming the heart of a vast, interconnected battlefield. From drifting freight ships to floating meteorites and galactic vessels like the Milano and Nova Corps Star Blasters, the environment flows endlessly from one area to the next - an unbroken cosmic arena watched over by Cosmo the Space Dog.
Road Rage
Dead or Alive 6: Last Round Arena
A scene of a horrific highway traffic collision. Black smoke licks the sky above the piles of broken cars that threaten to catch on fire any moment, and trucks hang above at dangerous angles. Fighters with some imagination will surely find a way to use these conditions to their advantage.
What's Left Behind
Exploding Judo Federation Arena
Smoldering ruins under a scorching sun, a place forgotten by gods and humans alike. This post-apocalytpic wasteland is a dream rendition of Old St. Patrick, a city that was wiped by the phage outbreak back in 2013, leading to the creation of the two barrier cities of Correa DOME and St. Patrick SHIELD. Shaz wasn't there, of course - almost none of the survivors are still around. Still, documentaries about this doomed place that was once bustling with life.
Old St. Patrick is a faded memory of what happens when humans play with forces they cannot understand. The symbolism of the sandstorm and of the buildings corroded by time serves as a reminder - for Shaz above all - that some disasters cannot be averted, no matter how hard one tries.
Still, the old Dead Zone is slowly becoming a more complex ecosystem, one where all of its chaotic parts are finally forming a new equilibrium - be it the phages, the sand blood flowers or the illegal human settlements that dot the deserted center of Ireland.
Despite this spark of hope, the nameless ruins in the dream are barren and devoid of life, reflecting the reality of a desolate abode that does not exist anymore - or, maybe, never existed in the first place.

Sunken Nightmares
Exploding Judo Federation Arena
A graveyard of sinking, rusted ships, swallowed by an endless dark sea under the fading moonlight. This haunting place was spawned by several deep-rooted traumas from Shaz's subconscious, including his inability to swim and the death of his favorite idol singer - Combat Idol MIRAI Nanami. The incident that caused Nanami to sink into the depths of the ocean happened on a floating platform, during the last preparations before her concert in September 2067. Her quick replacement with Nanami v2 made Shaz feel even worse about her tragic passing.
The dire conditions of this abandoned ship graveyard reflect, in part, the loss of a ray of sunshine that graced Shaz's disastrous life. A loss that was mitigated by meeting Todd McGilligan and I.N.A.B.A.'s enigmatic definitely-not-oilmate Nanashi. Shaz would swear she reminds him of the long lost original Nanami, but that cannot be physically possible, can it? Better let Nanami rest in her underwater tomb and don't dwell too long where the dead ships sink.

Marvel's New York (Night)
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Arena
Experience the iconic areas of Marvel's New York after nightfall. Neon lights and bustling crowds bring the City Center to life, fog and shadows cast an ominous mood over Hell's Kitchen, and Avengers Park becomes a tranquil nighttime escape beneath cherry blossoms and city lights.
She-Hulk stands on the right side of the street in formal wear.

Elysium
Fight of Gods Arena
Buddha / Zen (PS4)
An ethereal stage with clouds/fog on the ground and a big ol' daibutsu in the background.
Mysterious North
Fight of Gods Arena
Santa Claus
A Christmas village in the high north, probably supposed to be around Santa's workshop in the North Pole. Aurora Borealis dances behind the mountain in the far back, at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the world, localized entirely in this game.
Dark Abyss
Fight of Gods Arena
Boss
Fight the game's Boss in this abstract arena in a dark purple void with floating rocks and stars.
Training Room
Fight of Gods Arena
The obligatory training stage that every fighting game seems to have to have, with lines along the stage to assist players in spacing. At least this one has a neat aesthetic, making it look like the inside of an ancient temple, although the Fight of Gods logo slapped in the middle of the wall stands out against that.
